If there is a deviation, it will affect the accuracy and sensitivity of the scale. If the length of the link is too long, the scale will appear to be “heavy”. If it is too short, it will appear to be “light”. The link must hang without touching other objects. This way, it won’t impact the scale’s sensitivity. People often overlook this, believing it to be in direct proportion. In reality, this is not the case. It will appear to be “small”. The connecting rod dangles without support. It must not touch other objects, or it will affect the scale’s sensitivity.

People often overlook this, as they think it is in direct proportion to the other. In reality, this is not the case. Replacing the sensor should be as close as possible to the original sensor load. See if you can set the electronic scale to weigh a larger load. If you cannot adjust it, then don’t replace it. Stick to the original load. If you switch to a sensor with a higher load, the microvolt/division signal output will decrease. This means the full output, display, and dial adjustment won’t work for you. So, it will be unusable. If we can adjust it, then we will have no major problems.

After you replace the sensor in an electronic or combined scale, verify and qualify it before use. After replacing the sensor, commission the combined electronic and mechanical scale. Follow the instructions for the weighing display instrument. You should base this on the accurate commissioning of the mechanical scale.
